At some point, wispy green hues, extending to the southern night sky covering the constellation Orion, were momentarily so bright that it illuminated my hand as I was looking at the latter. Epic!

I’m not informed enough to be talking in-depth about such mind-blowing space phenomena, so I’ll leave these pics and the botched timelapse as is without any deeper nor enlighteningly comments.
But I highly recommend getting an app or following a website that sends notifications every time there’s a promising space weather forecast.
