A bit of world-building is always fun.

Doctor Moretas was a creation from my time in chemotherapy, and I had a lot of time during this period fleshing out his design and background. Eventually, I spent a few days creating him as a 3D-character. Occasionally years after his inception, I still come up with a few stories and monologues for him, and over the years, while I’ve changed, he hasn’t much.

This short sequence was primarily shot in Kalvebod Fælled mixed in with the rest of the footage shot in Ireland the previous year. Moretas’ nemesis appearing at the end is the lymphatic monster – a primordial being capable of much destruction. These two engage in some serious physical altercations, most of which were too time-consuming to animate. No, wait: all of them were time-consuming to animate!

Hence, I only ended up with a few test sequences done with the skills I had at the time. To be honest, I’d love to do more of this stuff, but I was studying at the time so time wasn’t of the essence. Hopefully your own imagination can come up with the rest of the story.
